Excellent Original Solido (France) Model #104 Complete with Original Box VANWALL F1 GRAND PRIX RACING CAR ***** This is an excellent original example of the Solido Toys #104 model of the Vanwall VW5 F1 Grand Prix racing car which won the 1957 British Grand Prix at Aintree driven by Tony Brooks and then Stirling Moss. Model comes complete in its original card picture box. Model comes in British racing green colourway finish with grey painted baseplate. Model fitted with spring suspension. Vanwall decal to bodywork side and 'RN 7' decal to rear offside come complete. Fitted with driver-in, in white coveralls and red racing helmet. Silver detailing to side exhaust piping. Black tread tyres on chrome shaped spun hubs. Model comes in excellent condition with just minor paint rubbing to the odd raised edge. Original Solido yellow card picture box with red line drawings comes in good condition overall. No inscriptions, colours still good, rubbed to its edges. All small end flaps and large tuck-in flaps are present. Overall an excellent example of this highly collectable Solido F1 model. Hopefully the pictures should tell their own story !
