Description
Brand / model of the available cars appears in the pull-down list. When you choose one, its photo is shown in the window above (left side, when using computer). These miniature vehicles are in perfect condition. However, due to their age, cardboard boxes may exhibit some slight yellowing and/or edges pontual abrasion, and hard acrylic ones may have price tag slight marks. For multiple purchase (several units at one time) unit prices will be gradually reduced. (Please note that international air transport has experienced some delays recently, which can affect the speed of delivery of my products. Please be patient, I ask for your understanding.) SOLIDO was a French manufacturer of die-cast model cars and trucks based in Oulins, Anet, France, 40 miles west of Paris. Vehicles are usually made of zamac alloy. Solido was the brand name established in 1930 by Ferdinand de Vazeilles in the western Paris suburb of Nanterre. Trough the 1960s, models continually improved in detail and realism, and were often based on blueprints from actual car manufacturers. Starting in 1964, Solido incorporated vintage vehicles, a superior line of classic cars, their l'Age d'Or (or Golden Age). Larger and more complex than the leaders in the field at the time, the Matchbox Models of Yesterday, and better finished. The l'Age d'Or range were among the first diecast lines marketed to adults.
